The footage was unearthed by DJ Eclipse , the former manager of the legendary shop, who was poring over video of performances from the grand opening of the shops 6th Avenue location and stumbled upon a now-familiar figure: Kanye West. At the time, the performance hadnt registered as particularly significant: It was just another hungry, young and relatively unknown rapper who was willing to fly in from Chicago to perform at the celebration in front of a crowd of hip-hop insiders in the hopes of furthering his career. West was already scheduled to perform at MIA in Philly on Saturday, August 30. Today (July 16), it was announced that the G.O.O.D. Details are actually being kept pretty mum. The interview hasnt debuted and besides a few Instagram moments we havent really seen the editorial. Theres an assumption that amongst the various labels he wears, theres a heavy helping of his APC collaboration. Were going to go out a limb here and say the white tee and likely the jeans hes wearing on the cover are products of that.
